Nokia connects with Windows Phone OS (7.5 here) and squeezed out its two promising phones in December 2011, hitting the racks now – Lumia 800 and Lumia 701. Urbane and unfussy look in company with the classy pinch of the black/white.

Loaded with insigniating colors, viewing videos and text is splendid. Nevertheless this came after an elongated wait but Lumia 800 apparently seems to be boxed up well; when weighed against Lumia 701 on design and performance.

If you know what Aakash tablet is and you desire to buy that and are waiting in the queue, among the 14lakhs orders which were placed in first 15days of online sale. Where Datawind promises to deliver it within seven days. Is it possible?

But hold on before you order that, read this. By spending $10 more you get the Tablet-cum-Phone – the UBISLATE 7+ (a.k.a Aakash 2).

Ubislate7+ is the upgraded version of the Aaskash Tablet (also the known as the Ubislate). What’s so different about the Ubislate7+? Know then below:

• Ubislate7+ also has 3200 mAh battery which is expected to give a battery back up of 5 hours as compared 2100 mAh battery of the Aakash a back up of mere 3 hours.

• It also commits a Graphics Processor and HD video processor for us to enjoy the HD playback of videos.

• It also comes with a headphone/mic + integrated speaker.

Well, I guess those are just enough for a tech-packed handy gadget at just 2,999 INR.

Pricing and Order:

Ubislate7+ has been priced at $57 (approx 3000 INR) which is just $10 more than the previous version.
Though this is not in the market, you can pre-order. The pre-order started last month and the product is ready to be out now, by the end of January’12.

Though it seems awkward to blog about deactivating after blogging about how to activate it; but many have asked me ‘how-to-get-rid-of-timeline‘. A pretty research made me get the code.

To Quote a facebook developer when asked about this:

Once you click “Get Timeline,” you will have seven days to review everything that appears on your timeline before anyone else can see it.

If you choose, you can publish your timeline right away. If you decide to wait, your timeline will go live automatically after seven days. Your timeline will replace your profile.

Eventually everyone on Facebook will be rolled over to timeline.

For all the Firefox users:

1. Open Mozilla Firefox.
2. Click on Tools Menu and the on Add-ons OR Press Ctrl+Shift+A
   
3. Look for the Search bar at the right top corner and type ‘User Agent Switcher’
   
4. Once you get the add-on click on install.
   
5. After the Add-on is installed, restart firefox.

The Indian government launched the $35 (Rs. 1,700) tablet called Aakash, which Union minister Kapil Sibal called a “tablet for the poor.”

DataWind in association with IIT – Rajasthan has launched the world’s cheapest Android. Kapil Sibal – person who is both the IT and Education minister – targets this cheap system to the education sector.
