Ever since the time in memorial I used to wonder that what could be the key points to a business making an unremitting success all the way its existence? Little did I know or had I ever realized that any economic process, not necessarily only significant to money making, had to have some checkpoints before they actually become ‘successful’.
Just few days back when I pondered upon this issue to draw away the conclusion to the ever existing question of my mind, was when I jotted down these “5 Golden Do’s” that should be embraced by any business process to flourish.
Once you reckon this out, you can convert the ultimate challenge into the ultimate opportunity.

Our Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, says that India is ‘Shining Bright’. India is developing and has a growth rate of 7.89 percentages (accounting to a rate higher than that of United Sates of America). Currently our economic growth rate is faster (more than 4 times) than America — Amazing yet true!

India Celebrating 62nd Independance Day
Barrack Obama, The President of America, acknowledges India’s power and the stimulating developments it has been making in the evolution of mankind. Whatever it be (viz., nuclear science, industrialization, world economy and etc); India is there standing tall in all the spheres and topping most of them. India is shinning isn’t it?

We’ve all made fun of those iPhone clones infesting the market. However I’ve seen only a few people appalled by the deceptive marketing bonanza that this device has caused in the subcontinent. If calling it the E-Phone weren’t enough, they decide to go an extra mile by blatantly reusing an official image of the aforementioned device.
What’s surprising is the fact that the press seems to have completely waived off it’s responsibility in publishing such an advertisement. The fact that an advertisement like this has actually made itself to the print edition of such a premiere newspaper explains why we need more attention towards monitoring of advertisements in the country. Surely, such an advertisement would be laughable if it ended up on the frontpage of the New York Times, perhaps followed immediately by a lawsuit. Why should things be different in India?
As requested by someone, here’s what the advertisement reads:

History
Fourdy Wlog was started recently when Rahul, Khushboo, Chetan and I decided to blog at a common place (Rahul even went to the extent of deleting his existing blog at blogspot). We were surprised at the response we got from friends; many of them wanted an author access to the blog. The quick popularity of the blog made us realize the power of synergy.
The Idea
We are inviting authors to blog at FOURDY WLOG because of 3 reasons:
- So that FOURDY WLOG becomes one place to look out for information on any topic.
- To directly market author’s blog on FOURDY WLOG as we allow authors to mention few extracts from the post and like it to their own (it is not mandatory for the authors to link FOURDY WLOG on their blog/website)
- Link to Author’s website/blog.
Who can join
There is NO restriction on the basis of age, education, location or experience. You do not even need to have your own blog (really). All we expect from the author is to maintain the code of conduct by keeping the post strickly non obscene and away from controvertial topics. We would like each author to take up few categories of their choice and post in those topics itself. As the association is absolutely informal, there are no set rules but more of mutual understanding.
How can you join
You can join simply by writing an email at wlog [at] thefourdy.com, mentioning the topics/categories you are interested to blog for and we would get back to you with the registration link.
Wishing everyone the very best, happy wlogging!

FOURDY Wlog! - Winning Best Elevator Pitch Award @ Kolkata Blogger's Meet 2009
I have no clue from where to start it off and how to wind it up. But for present, I’m more concerned in explaining the exhilarating experience that me and my companions: Rahul Bharadwaj, Khushboo Nangalia, Shikha Kedia, Anurag Ahuja and Yogesh Goel (better identified by the populace at the meet as ygoel.com) had at the Kolkata Blogger’s Meet 2009 on 8th August, 2009 at Café Coffee Day, Salt Lake (Sector V), Near Adlabs Cinemas, Kolkata.
I couldn’t perceive how 5 hours flew like few minutes, and the programme was over. I only did when the Prize Distribution (which was supposed to be the last on the agenda) commenced and FOURDY Wlog (led by my brother Rahul) won the ‘Best Elevator Pitch Award’.

It has been about a year that I have been administering the content on kyakare.com. The whole work started as a “variation” of Content Writing (which I was into during that time). During the initial stages I teamed up with one other member of FOURDY SOLUTIONS, but lately I have been doing it by myself under the guidance of Baselal Killekar, Chief Editor at Kyakare.com. The project was routed by my brother, Rahul Bharadwaj as an extension of the development services that he provided to kyakare.

With internet becoming common, the disparity between the West and the East have started to reduce. Knowledge about almost everything is much easily available which in turn led to much faster development of Eastern nation like India, China and other surrounding countries. This has led to development of almost all industries, be it Iron & Steel, BPO, Hospitality, IT or any other. But, there is one thing that we still miss out, that is, we (eastern countries) are still dependent on the west when it comes to discovering or trend setting. As I am from the web industry, which is one of the most dynamic industries of the current times, I tend to feel that somewhere Indians are left out in the race. Read the rest of this entry »

I (Rahul Bharadwaj) would like to confirm that I got engaged to my dearest friend, Shikha Kedia on 28th June, 2009. Important: Please do not treat this as a prank!
It was a dream come true for me but since then, it has become very difficult for me to announce this formally (you people know how I am) due to which day by day because of complains from my friends and family no one is enjoying the good news in the way it should be. Hence, I would request all of you to treat this as a formal apology from me and dump any sense of dissatisfaction that you might have and focus on the wedding ceremony, which is scheduled to be on 3rd of December, 2009 at FE Block Community Hall, Salt Lake, Kolkata. Click here if you plan to attend the event.
